First project

This is my scratch piece. I chose to do a bearded dragon because my friend just got one and i think they're cool. A lot of people seem to like doing scratch boards but I'm not that huge of a fan. Maybe it's because i didnt have all the tools to really make this thing look amazing. With what i had though i think i did great, especially on the eyes.

This Piece was made by mixing lights and darks. I thought of the design from an old symbol from a video game and gave it my own touch. The yellow triangle in the middle didnt want to cooperate with the color. whenever i mixed the yellow with black it made a green color. so i mixed it with brown.

This was a piece dedicated to using 3rd point perspective. It makes the letters extremely bold and appear 3d

This is my poitalism piece, and i have to say its my favorite this semester. I love the way it turned out. It started just as a outline of a skull but after I completed it, it felt like it was missing something. So i added in the spider. I originally was going to have himm crawling on the skull but i decided that i wanted to leave the skull alone. so I put the spider next to it.

I love how basic this piece is. I honestly tried adding to it but everything i put extra made it not look as good. Sometimes thats all you need in art to get your point across. This piece could mean something different to whoever but for me I think it means that beauty is simple.
